About Me

I was born and bred in the Northern Cape, South Africa and spent a great deal of my childhood on a working Kalahari farm and I've been in love ever since. Traveling up North to our neighbouring countries has given me some of the best memories of my life and I love sharing this knowledge with others who wants to explore these beautiful countries. I'll tell you there's a kind of magic in Africa; with the colour of a sunset so magnificent you'll think you're dreaming and experiences so amazing you'll never want to leave.

The Southernmost country in Africa. South Africa has something for everyone, great game viewing options, a gorgeous coastline with some of the best beaches in the world.

Neighbouring South Africa to the North, Namibia is an incredibly special country. Where the desert meats the ocean, rich in culture and breathtaking landscapes.

Sharing borders with both South Africa and Namibia, Botswana is home to the Chobe National Park, huge salt pans and the beautiful Okavango Delta.

Transport

Wondering, how do I get there and how do I get around in while on my vacation.

Tip: With the technology of today everyone has a GPS app on their phone, but we always travel with a hard copy map. Very handy, especially when traveling in the more remote areas.

Flights

Getting to Southern Africa from any other would be by plane. There are daily flights by numerous airlines and something to suit every budget.

Already in one of these countries? No problem, you can fly or visit the other by road.

What if I don't want to be part of a large group but I'm also not comfortable driving myself. We are happy to announce, from June 2023 we offer accompanied trips. You'll have the luxury of having a private vehicle but not the stress of driving in a foreign country yourself.

Car Rental

You can book a car to suit your needs through a car rental company, most have offices at the airport. Some lodges also offer vehicle rentals and shuttles and if you are part of a tour group transportation will be included in your tour.

Since most of these establishments are privately owned and run you can be assured of that personal touch making your stay memorable.

Where to eat?

Most accommodations have a breakfast option and some dinner as well. You will find world class restaurants with mouth-watering food to suit everyone's taste buds. You will be treated to some of the best local foods and truly get to experience Southern African culture.

Activities

We know how to keep you entertained and offer something for everyone. With great activities for kids as well the whole family will have a fun filled day. Wine Tasting in the Cape Winelands, Game Drives in Etosha, Scenic Flights over the Okavango Delta, Shopping at a local "Padstal" or just relaxing by the pool, we've got you covered.

Did you know: A "Padstal" is a small roadside shop, selling just about everything you can think of. These are nice when shopping for souvenirs and gifts to take home.

Guest Experience Consultant

I have a great passion for tourism and hospitality and believe everyone should get the absolute best experience. Working in the hospitality industry myself I understand the challenges and demands that comes with it. Not everyone is in the position to have an inhouse guest experience manager and I get that employees don't always have the time to give this aspect the attention it needs. I would like to assist you in maximizing your establishments abilities and giving your guests the absolute best experience.
